Well, the verdict may still be out on exactly whether or not I truly could ski it, or simply passed the time in a adequate mode of disaster avoidance, but it was certainly a great day. I may not blunder onto the 'Three Cliffs' off-piste area for my first run of the day next time, but just about the entire rest of the mountain is definitely on my A-list. what an unbelievably unique place.

And a special thanks to whatever family of new englanders overcame their laconic ways to ask me whether or not I was 'just following them' or really trying to jump off a 30ft cliff at 10am in the morning. Your insight was invaluable and probably saved my first run from turning into a grueling back-packing adventure.
