You forgot to include the security patches.

Jeff, very cute - but completely inaccurate in terms of the actual versions of the Adobe Reader (or earlier called Acrobat Reader) product.

If you are going to post such a humorous piece, which I certainly took it is, please identify it as such and not as "gospel".

As Leonard points out, this is not the actual Adobe Reader Version Gospel. Please do not regard it as such.

This blog post was just the output of the following.

(1..9).each do |major|
(0..rand(4)).each do |minor|
if rand(5) > 2
puts "Reader #{major}.#{minor} : Still opens PDFs. Fewer Crashes"
else
puts "Reader #{major}.#{minor} : Still opens PDFs. More Crashes"
end
end
end

I believe Adobe uses a different script entirely to write the Reader release notes.

Very interesting article that I believe Adobe uses a different script entirely to write the Reader release notes. I thought I'd take this as a chance to look back at some of the previous versions of Reader that we all know and love.I love all the Adobe software. It is helpful and informative blog.
